Leed Green Building Certification with Block Bims

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Eco-Friendly Design), developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGB), is a voluntary standard; is a rating system that defines nature-friendly, healthier, more economical and high-performance buildings. The LEED rating system, which can be applied for all building types, consists of the following categories:

  • Leed Certificate (40-49 points)
  • Silver Certificate (50-59 points)
  • Gold Certificate (60-79 points)
  • Platinum Certificate (80 points and above)

The scores for LEED certificates are based on the following sustainable design criteria applied in building construction or renovation and require at least 40 points according to these criteria.

  • Sustainable Areas
  • Water Efficiency
  • Energy and Atmosphere
  • Materials and Resources
  • Location and Transportation
  • Interior Quality
  • Innovation (Innovation in Design)
  • Regional Priority Loans
You can see the range of points you will earn with BlokBims products in the following table:
